10 Million Mustangs Made
Ford celebrates the production of its 10 millionth Mustang at its Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan.
Ford has recently celebrated the production of its 10 millionth Mustang – America’s best-selling sports car of the last 50 years and the world’s best-selling sports car three years straight.
The 10 millionth Ford Mustang that rolled out of the company's Flat Rock Assembly plant is a high-tech, 460-horsepower 2019 Wimbledon White GT V8 6-speed manual convertible equipped with the latest driver assist technology. This unit was created to pay homage to the first serialised Mustang (VIN 001) that was produced in 1964. That particular 1964 Mustang was a 3-speed automatic with a 164-horsepower V8 engine.
Ford is celebrating the milestone with employee celebrations at its Dearborn headquarters and its Flat Rock Assembly Plant, including flyovers from three WWII-era P-51 Mustang fighter planes and Mustangs produced for more than five decades parading from Dearborn to Flat Rock, where the Mustang currently is manufactured.
Into its sixth generation, the latest Ford Mustang offers more technology and exhilarating performance than ever. And should you want a piece of the action by owning a Mustang of your own, we have got it! So come visit our Cars & Coffee sales gallery today or call 6397 4080 now to find out more.
